Annie Cohen-Solal received her PhD in French literature from the Sorbonne. She has held positions at Tisch School of the Arts, École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, the Free University of Berlin, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She lives in Paris and Cortona.
